L'espace intersidéral, les planètes et les étoiles ont
inspiré toutes les cultures, des observateurs de l'antiquité qui y voyaient les
Titans jusqu’à notre culture populaire qui décline guerres des étoiles et Aliens à toutes les sauces. C'est justement
parque que l'espace est un sujet vaste (dans tout les sens du terme) qu'elle fut et qu'elle est encore une source
d'inspiration et de rêverie que la galerie Le Repaire des 100 talents à invité
17 artistes à présenter leurs œuvres en lien avec le cosmos et la
science-fiction.
L'exposition intitulée "Major Tom" commencera le 11 juin et se poursuivra jusqu'au 22 juillet.

Le vernissage, qui sera une bonne occasion de
rencontrer les artistes, aura lieu le dimanche 14 juin de 16h30 à 21h00.
Vous pourrez y voir des peintures, des photos, des gravures ainsi que des
sculptures, tantôt inspirées par les premiers observateurs qui donnèrent le nom
aux constellations tantôt par le cinéma de science-fiction ou la musique pop.
17 artistes c'est 17 micro-univers à découvrir.

Major Tom : Collective art exhibition
about outer space
Outer space, the planets and the stars have
been a fascination for human of every culture, from stargazer of the antiquity
who saw titans an animal shape in the pattern of the stars to our modern day
pop culture that gave us its numerous star wars and aliens variations. Space is
a vast subject and it has this amazing potential to intrigue and inspire, it is
for those reason that the art gallery Le Repaire des 100 talents proposed it to
the artists as a subject for a collective exhibition.
The exhibit will start thursday june 11th and will continue until Wednesday july 22nd.
The opening reception, which will be a good opportunity to meet the artists, will take place Sunday, june 14th from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
You will see paintings, engravings, sculptures and photo, some inspired by the first observers who gave the name to the constellations and some inspired by recent movies or iconic pop songs.
